Got It!
After arriving at Fuji-Hakone National Park, we were half way up the mountain on our trolley ride when we discovered that we had left our camera on the bullet train from Tokyo. Since we were at a brief train stop, we made the quick decision that I should jump off the train, which I did just before the doors shut. As we waved goodbye to each other through the train windows, we were all in shock at having lost our camera and, more importantly, all the pictures we had taken over the past two weeks.
I rode the train back to the Hakone-Yumoto station and, lo and behold, the camera was waiting for me there at window #7! You gotta love these efficient, honest, wonderful Japanese people!
I sent a text with the picture above, however Monica never received it due to poor reception. While I was making the trek back up the mountain to meet them, Monica was able to get someone on the phone in Tokyo, who quickly discovered and relayed that the camera was waiting for us, and gave Monica instructions on how to retrieve it. Again, you gotta love these people!
